Enlightening the beauty of nature and the life of the sea remain the essence of his passion. The long standing practice of art and his subjects allows an animated expression of true feelings.
Hunting for small game of his childhood, he took the turn to a quest for ship’s action photography, seascapes and landscapes all done in vibrant colors.
The ships, he says, are alive and not unlike houses, haunted by the souls of their designers, builders and crews.
His photos on Webshots.com and Flickr.com, without any active marketing, now counts more than half a million openings, as well as above 30 000 downloads.
Several painters also confirm seeking inspiration from his albums. Companies and organizations, use his photos for their public web sites, reports, presentations and promotional items. The recently published Maritime Magazine no 51 shows one of his photos for front cover.
Retired and now a full time artist, he built his studio and commercialise his works.
